The 1911 Revolution, also known as the Xinhai Revolution, was an epoch-making event that had far-reaching consequences for China and the first republic in Asia’s history. The revolution’s spiritual leader, Sun Yat-sen, was also the founder of the Kuomintang party (KMT), and he was praised as the National Father for all Chinese people.
