MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – Marines from 2nd Platoon Alpha Company, Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 1st Marines, rush on line as they conduct combat marksmanship training under Special Operations Training Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force, aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Aug. 30. This portion of the training helped the Marines sharpen the marksmanship skills necessary for close quarters combat.

Chris Little, combat engineers from Charlie Company, Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 1st Marines, assess a weapons cache inside a mock enemy camp during a training raid aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Aug, 25. The Marines discovered several rubber enemy weapons and ordnance, and destroyed it later that day.

The Marines discovered several enemy rubber weapons and ordnance and destroyed them later that day.
